The new Pedestrian Crossing and Pocket park at the junction of St James Road and Blue Anchor Lane was completed in May 2022. This was a really precarious area for pedestrians with lots of traffic using Blue Anchor Lane as a ‘Rat Run’ which has now been transformed into a safer more tranquil and pleasant space. New trees and plants will be added in the Autumn planting season. This much needed intervention also creates a new link to the Low Line and a more pleasing stroll down to Hannah Orchard Walk, the new public walkway connecting The Blue Market with Blue Anchor Lane
